On our way back from Zambia to Austria we chose your hotel because of the perfect location close to the airport. It exceeded all our expectations. We experienced a very warm welcome at the reception, enjoyed the nice room as well as dinner and breakfast. The staff's attentive care for their guests is outstanding. In fact, if there were a staff competition, yours would win the gold medal !!! After having checked out, one of your friendly porters accompanied us with all our luggage from the hotel right to the counter of our airline: unbelievable... never experienced before... thank you !

Reception on arrival at hotel was great and staff very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed time at the bar and had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Had a great day at the spa and can definitely recommend a visit to the spa. The very short walking distance to / from the airport terminal was very convenient.

The Intercontinental hotel's location is its biggest draw card. It is so close to the airport and it is a short walk . It is ideal for transitting passengers. After a huge flight from New Zealand to J/burg, the hotel provided me with a great recovery place. The bed was very comfy. The gym has one of the most amazing views. The staff were very helpful. Is there anything more one would want. I will be a return customer for sure

The price is high, but it was worth it. The location right next to the airport is perfect, the personnel is very friendly, check-in and check-out were efficient, and the room was very nice. I also had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and the food quality as well as the service were excellent.

perfect for a layover for an international traveler. with the early check in option, I was able to rest post flight and rejuvenate before traveling onward. quick walk to check in and depart again from JNB. lovely spa

The staff are so amazing, coming from Australia and being a bit scared I felt at ease as soon as I walked though the doors. I can't thank you enough for your customer service, just remarkable 👏

The room was perfect a little smaller than what I am used to but it was clean , well arranged ,the linen was absolutely clean and great quality indeed ( I'm very particular with that)- the best part was the mini-bar Lol whoever parked the fridge should get a bonus Lol - I really enjoyed the selection. The staff were professional and very attentive. I was welcomed by one of the ladies -that is what I call special attention (it was very special) I hope other hotels can learn from you - small gestures like that is what keeps us coming back. Your hotel has the best customer care 100% professionalism from your staff .

I had a wonderful stay at the Intercontinental recently. The only thing I would say is that the entrance was undergoing construction and it was not clear where to enter from the arrivals section. I also think the hotel in general was a bit over priced for what it was but again it is a brand name but I would deduct a couple of point perhaps for value for money tbh. On a positive note, I was VERY happy and impressed by the staff who walked me and my bags all the way from the hotel to my check in desk (up 2 flights on elevators) for the departures upstairs on my check out date. I was a bit nervous navigating the Joburg airport as I hadn't been there before and they were awesome!!! I would come back to this hotel because of their service :)

This hotel is the business. The staff can't do enough for you. They're wonderful. Stayed twice during my trip to South Africa and Botswana safari as a stop over between trips. The location is adjacent to the airport. Walk across from the arrival hall. The rooms are magnificent. Sit watching your tv from your marble bath in your marble bathroom sipping a glass of champagne. So many extras in the room. Staff are wonderful go above & beyond. Food is top notch 👌 restaurant & room service. Breakfast in the morning is the best. Set my alarm for this. Everything is available from a a variety of cooked breakfast options & a buffet. Cereals fruits cheeses breads nuts dried fruit pastries juices. Totally spoilt for choice & they know how to make coffee too. They have a chauffeured mercedes fleet to take you wherever you want to go & will return and collect you when you call. It will be even more super when the terrace is completed along with the garden area. Will definitely be staying at this hotel again when i return to Johannesburg
